What makes Second Skin so soft?

Second Skin is the softest all-cotton sheet we have tested. This is because of 2 reasons:

1. A natural enzyme process is used to make Second Skin, in which molecules are removed from the cell walls of the cotton, making the cotton fibers easier to bend
2. Sateen weave reduces stiffness further. This is because sateen has fewer yarn-locking intersections per square inch.

The enzyme process used is permanent so it won't wash out. Further, it uses natural enzymes so you won't need to worry about harmful chemicals coming in contact with your skin.
