Launder separately to guarantee an extended life for these fine sheets.
Your laundry detergent can trigger sensitive skin outbreaks. AVOID REGULAR LAUNDRY DETERGENT AND FABRIC SOFTENERS. Hypoallergenic alternatives are available but can contain traces of optical brighteners, fragrances or dyes that trigger reactions with extremely sensitive skin. It can take a week for your immune system to identify irritants if you recently changed detergents.
Machine wash warm or cold water, using half the detergent recommended to eliminate re-soiling. Never wash with jeans, towels or other abrasive fabrics, which weaken the ultrafine cotton yarn and may lead to tearing. Do not use chlorine bleach, which weakens ultrafine yarn and reduces the life of your sheets.
Fabric softeners are not recommended as the chemicals stick to the ultra-fine fibers and feel waxy with continual washing.
Rinse in cold water (TWICE if you have extremely sensitive skin) to remove excess detergent that can trigger skin reactions.
Tumble dry low. Don’t use dryer sheets, which typically contain strong perfuming agents that can trigger sensitive skin outbreaks. Remove from dryer when damp (yes, damp!) and smooth out wrinkles by hand.
